This page was created as a Glossary for the members of Scooby Doo's Mystery Gang.
Norville "Shaggy" Rogers is a fictional character in the Scooby-Doo franchise. He is a cowardly slacker and the long-time best friend of his equally cowardly Great Dane, Scooby-Doo. Like Scooby-Doo, Shaggy is more interested in eating than solving mysteries.
For starters, most people do not know that Shaggy's real name is Norville. Other than his funny antics and usefullness as bait, Shaggy does not offer any utility to the team in terms of solving mysteries or catching bad guys. For these reasons I would rate Shaggy as a C tier member of the Mystery Gang.
